The phonebook-on-steroids app company, Truecaller, has declared a collaboration with Intex Technologies, one of the top device creators in India, to substitute the local phone dialing software with the app's experience. Released during 2009, Truecaller has handled to achieve a customers list of 100 thousand in India.
The new Intex Aqua Young devices will now integrate the Truecaller and Truedialer programs. Costing ₹5,090 ($78), the products are already available across the nation. With the incorporation, Intex Aqua Young customers will be able to recognize more than 2 billion numbers on incoming and outgoing phone calls, prevent undesirable phone calls or invisible numbers, as well as secure themselves from known spammers with a community-built data source. So far, both the companies have not stated whether the collaboration will increase to other mobile phones in the Intex range.
Nitin Goel, General Manager of Intex Technologies, said in a joint statement that with this organization, they are assured of further building up their focus of offering a classified encounter to their customers and help them encounter intelligent ways of linking and determining connections.
To remember, Intex's Aqua Young price range smart phone went on selling back in Oct. The dual-SIM smart phone operates Android operating system 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and features a 5-inch (480x854 pixels) FWVGA IPS show. The device also sports Corning Gorilla Glass. Other requirements include a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor; 1GB of DDR2 RAM; 8GB of integrated storage; extended storage space via microSD card (up to 32GB); 5-megapixel back fixed-focus camera with LED flash; an extra 0.3-megapixel front-facing fixed-focus camera; 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, Wireless, and a 2500mAh battery power.
Truecaller, an app to recognize unidentified numbers and also prevent spam phone calls, last month had achieved the 200-million customer landmark and stated to have more than doubled its customers list in less than 10 months. In the past, it has had ideal relationships with Microsoft, Tata DoCoMo, and Twitter to increase touch points with customers.
